Position: Proposal Manager

Job Summary:
The Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the process of proposal responses. This includes, but is not limited to, setup and management of Bid / No Bid review meetings and document the associated action items and responsibilities and providing full documentation for a client Request for Proposal.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
  • Implement key operational and quality initiatives;
  • Ensure consistent and successful implementation of operational processes;
  • Provide full documentation for internal process documentation;
  • Provide positive communication with client and internal resources for the development of the assigned projects;
  • Create an effective team environment and model cross-functional problem solving;
  • Implement initiatives and processes which result in a well-managed, profitable operation;
  • Monitor Proposal performance through an auditing process;
  • Generate reports and analyze data to assess trends and areas requiring action, identify root causes and develop action plans to address issues to develop and improve documented responses;
  • Develop a electronic file library of previous proposals and future proposals for the Company;
  • Develop an electronic version of the Company’s equipment list;
  • Develop an electronic file of all individuals and the associated resumes to be included in proposals;
  • Maintain an electronic log of all proposals received, and answered; and
       The Proposal Writer reports directly to the Director, Strategic Initiatives.
